Florin claims to be from France but speaks with an Australian accent. He had been working as "private security" in Africa before the transformation, and entered the Dungeon "armed to the teeth." Eventually, his already heavily modified Mossberg shotgun received a magical upgrade that gives it unlimited ammunition. The shotgun is now his primary weapon.

On the Third Floor, Florin selects the Crocodilian race and Shotgun Messenger Class. He and his partner, Ifechi, are instant hits on the Dungeon Leaderboards and Dungeon Crawler World: Earth, and remain fan favorites until Ifechi's death. After her loss, Florin is prepared to give up, but is inspired to keep fighting by Carl's selfless efforts to save everyone on the Fifth Floor.
